Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally in the teen years at Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. She played Little Red Ridinghood shortly after her appearance in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production, for which she received an Barrymore Award nomination. After her Broadway debut aged 15, she reprised her part and was awarded an award from the Drama League Award. Molly was also in the cast of the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. She attended Princeton University as a Triangle Club Member and received a B.A. in Religious Studies. In the same time frame she debuted as Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Molly worked in TV, such as Royal Pains, and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was a part of numerous regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 as well as the North Shore Music Theatre's The Diary of Anne Frank in 2010. The Diary of Anne Frank in the Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly played Anne. Molly has starred in several regional productions, including The Diary of Anne Frank in Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production. She performed the role of the teenage daughter Ali.
