Dina originates from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she relocated to Dix Hills on Long Island shortly before finishing her junior year. There are two of her younger siblings and a brother who is older. She began her career in entertainment when she was nine years old and did modeling. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock was among those who were trained to this manner and so were Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. Her first role was in the soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate out to Los Angeles. After landing the lead role on Johnny Mnemonic where she did most of the stunts on herself, she positioned her self as an actor athletic. Through her agent who also represents Matt LeBlanc she scored a part as a guest on Friends.
